This is the old-school liter bottle of everyday Viennese white, and it is exactly the kind of joyful, thirst-quenching wine Vienna built its heuriger culture on. Jutta Ambrositsch is one of the city's most serious growers, farming organically across tiny parcels on the hills above the Danube, and this white pulls from across her holdings, from young vines to an old-vine field blend planted in the 1950s. It is natural, spontaneously fermented, and made for glugging by the glass. Don't overthink it, just pour it cold.
