More about Antoine Lienhardt

Antoine Lienhardt represents the fourth generation in Comblanchien (Côte de Nuits, Burgundy), taking over his family's 6 hectares in 2011 with sister Héloïse joining in 2017. He trained at Amiot-Servelle and elsewhere, then brought serious environmental conviction: organic certified 2019, now farming biodynamically. His wines come from old parcels worked with precision and respect. These are Burgundies that taste like they know exactly what they're made of.

VineyardBlend of Les Charmois and Les Poiset, two well-reputed hillsdie vineyards located south of village near the forest line.SoilClay limestone -- complex mix of soils for a villages site.Viticultureincorporating some biodynamic principles, soils worked with a horse and plow. Heavy green harvesting to limit yields and encourage good concentration. All grapes are picked by hand at harvest.VinificationHarvested at optimum ripeness (always determined by consistent tasting in the vineyards), 100% destemmed, closed tank fermentation with cuvaison of 10 to 15 days.
