A nearly half-century-old Barolo from one of the Langhe's most traditional families, who have farmed here since the 1870s and never strayed toward barrique. This straight Barolo blends the estate's holdings into a classic, old-school expression made with native yeasts, long maceration, and no fining or filtration. At this age it is fully mature and meant for the curious, those who love Nebbiolo at its most ethereal and tertiary. From a private cellar, so expect variation; stand it upright, decant, and drink soon.

Truffle risotto, roasted guinea fowl, or a plate of aged Parmigiano.

Tasting Profile

Fully mature: dried flowers, dried cherry, leather, tar, and undergrowth. Light-bodied, delicate, fine tannins, lingering acidity. A fragile, evolved bottle.
