This is among the finest white wines of the Northern Rhône. Bérnarc Gripa's top Saint-Péray cuvée comes from 50- to 60-year-old vines on granite soils, a blend of 60% Roussanne and 40% Marsanne aged in new to 5-year-old barrels and demi-muids. The 2021 vintage shows the richness and complexity this terroir can achieve: delicate aromas of greengage and peach, a floral and elegant palate with dainty acidity, and the mineral precision that defines the appellation.
