Moulis is one of the Medoc's smaller, under-the-radar appellations—which is exactly where the smart money hunts for Left Bank Bordeaux value. Château Lestage-Darquier Grand Poujeaux was acquired in 2022 by the Cordonnier family of Château Anthonic, who selected top gravel-plateau parcels and pushed toward organic farming and a more Cabernet-driven, structured, almost Saint-Estèphe style. The 2022—their debut vintage at the helm and a celebrated Bordeaux year—is a serious, classic claret with the structure to drink in a few years or cellar for the medium term.
