Chiara Condello has established herself as one of Italy's most important young winemakers, earning recognition as Best Italian Winemaker Under 35. Her Sangiovese comes from seven hectares in the hills of Predappio, in Emilia-Romagna, where she works with 4.8 hectares of Sangiovese planted on distinctive terroir. The wine is produced with spontaneous fermentation and 15–25 days of skin maceration, then aged in steel and Slavonian oak. Intense ruby red in color, it opens with aromas of rose, violet, and cherry, revealing a broad, enveloping palate with a persistent finish. This is a wine that captures the elegance and structure for which the Predappio hills are becoming increasingly recognized.
