Clemens Busch is one of the Mosel's most respected organic and biodynamic producers, based in Pünderich where the family has grown grapes for generations. The estate is known for its commitment to sustainable viticulture and its exceptional vineyard holdings on the region's famous slate slopes. "Trocken" means dry, and this style of Mosel Riesling has gained tremendous popularity as winemakers demonstrate that the region can produce compelling dry wines alongside its traditional off-dry and sweet styles. The 2024 shows classic Mosel character—bright citrus, stone fruit, and that distinctive slate minerality—but with a dry finish that makes it incredibly versatile at the table. The alcohol is modest, the acidity electric, and the overall impression is one of purity and precision. An ideal introduction to serious German Riesling.
