"Seamless and chiseled, the 2022 Champon, crafted from 45- to 65-year-old vines planted in the upper northern part of the appellation, is also slightly reduced. After aeration, it bursts from the glass with aromas of violets and dark berries. Medium to full-bodied, dense and tense, it's linear and well structured with dense, velvety tannins and a telluric strength, culminating in a long, ethereal finish accented with lead pencil notes.
