Perched on the easternmost edge of Chablis’ Grand Cru slope, Blanchot is known for its subtlety—delivering whites with more perfume and finesse than raw muscle. In the careful hands of Dampt Frères, the 2022 vintage highlights everything this terroir does best: lift, minerality, and layered grace.
The nose is delicate yet complex—white flowers, Meyer lemon, chalk dust, and a hint of almond skin. On the palate, it’s pure and poised, with silky texture and cool-toned citrus fruit gliding into a long, saline finish. Fermented and aged in a mix of stainless steel and older oak, the wine is shaped more by its limestone soils than by any winemaking imprint.
