Bruno Colin is the younger son of Michel Colin-Deléger — brother of Philippe Colin, and cousin to the Marc Colin branch (whose sons include Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey and Joseph Colin) — and his Chassagne-based domaine has quietly become one of the village's most consistent addresses for whites. The village-level Chassagne-Montrachet draws from multiple parcels across the appellation and acts as the calling card: not the showpiece 1er Crus, but the bottling that tells you where the house style lives. The 2021 vintage was cool and classical in the Côte de Beaune after a frost-trimmed harvest, giving Chardonnays of cut and salinity rather than heft — exactly the register Bruno Colin favors.
