Camille Thiriet and her partner Matt Chittick launched their Burgundy project in 2016 and have rocketed into the conversation as one of the region's most exciting young names, working organically from the off-the-beaten-path villages at the southern end of the Cote de Nuits. This Bourgogne Chardonnay 'Cuvee Confidentielle' is their understated, expressive take on white Burgundy, and it shows the precision and freshness that have made their reputation. Expect bright orchard fruit, a little citrus, and a clean, mineral finish, with none of the heavy oak that can weigh down lesser whites. It's everyday Burgundy made by people who clearly care.
