The white counterpart to Trevallon's celebrated rouge comes from the same organically farmed limestone slopes beneath the Alpilles range. Where the red is built on Cabernet and Syrah, the blanc weaves together Marsanne, Roussanne, Chardonnay, Clairette, and Grenache Blanc—each variety vinified separately in barrel and demi-muid for twelve months without racking, then gently blended and filtered before bottling. The 2023 season pushed Provence to its limits: a desperately dry start (just sixty-three millimeters of rain in four months), torrential May downpours that rescued the vines, and summer heatwaves touching forty-one degrees. Yet the Dürrbach family's long experience with this terroir shows in the finished wine—stone fruit, fresh almond, and garrigue flowers are carried by a taut mineral frame that belies the season's heat. This is Mediterranean white wine at its most refined, from one of Provence's most respected family estates.

More about Domaine de Trevallon

Eloi Dürrbach planted the first vines here in 1973 on Provence's Alpilles limestone, creating what would become an iconic estate. His mantra—"the less you do, the wine"—still guides 15 hectares of Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. His wife Floriane and their children continue the philosophy of minimal intervention and maximum integrity.
