From the heart of Beaune, one of Burgundy’s most revered appellations, Domaine des Croix’s Pertuisots is a fine expression of Pinot Noir grown in the famed 1er Cru vineyard. The 2022 vintage shows what makes this site special—richness without heaviness, and a sense of place that’s both expressive and precise.

The wine opens with fresh red fruit—cherry, raspberry—and subtle earthy notes, underscored by a touch of spice from the oak. On the palate, the tannins are finely textured, providing a framework for the wine’s bright acidity and lively fruit. It’s a wine that feels both approachable and structured, with a finish that’s clean and mineral, reflecting the terroir of Pertuisots.

He begin his winemaking career straight out of viticulture school when he took over the reigns at Camille Giroud (as well as working with Guy Roulot), when he was just 24 years old. In 2016 he quit his day job to focus entirely on his own small domaine, which he purchased back in 2005.
