Benoit Germain inherited the Château de Chorey's moated castle and 200 years of Burgundy history—and then quietly rewrote the playbook. His Beaune premiers crus from Les Vignes-Franches, Les Teurons, and Les Cras sit in some of the appellation's finest mid-slope locations, where the family's old holdings push real quality. Benoit took over in 1999 from his father François, continuing a tradition that traces back through Maison Poulet and beyond. Old-school, unapologetically serious Pinot Noir from one of Burgundy's most historic addresses.
