Professional Reviews

Antonio Galloni

AG 93
"The 2023 Chablis Le Bas de Chapelot is similar to the Les Pargues aromatically, perhaps just a little more yellow fruit evident here. Fine delineation. The palate is where the real difference lies - much more weight and density, a honeyed tincture but that does not occlude the terroir expression or mineralité on the finish. This is a Chablis that wears its heart on its sleeve." -Neal Martin

Robert Parker

RP 92
"Slightly tauter than En Boucheran but not as chiseled as Les Pargues, Eleni & Edouard Vocoret’s 2023 Chablis Le Bas de Chapelot is chareterized by clay-rich and limestone soils, as it’s located close to the river. Wafting from the glass with a bouquet of beeswax, grapefruit zest and oyster shell, it’s medium to full-bodied, tensile and saline, with a racy spine of acidity and concluding with a persistent finish." -Kristaps Karklins

Burgundy has long been the world's most famous wine region. But, underneath all the prestige, this region can be hard to get to know.

While Burgundy offers many great trophies from top producers in well-known villages like Vosne Romanee and Puligny Montrachet, it also offers excellent values to anyone willing to explore beyond the famous names. Our collection– one of the largest in the U.S. – has plenty of both!

From the very basics of Burgundy's regions and wines to the specific terroirs of individual single vineyards--
everything you need to know about Bourgogne is just a click away!
