Premier Cru Vosne from a domaine with deep roots in the village. Mongeard-Mugneret traces its history in Vosne-Romanee back centuries and farms holdings across some of Burgundy's most storied terroirs. En Orveaux (Les Orveaux) is a Vosne-Romanee Premier Cru on the higher edge of the commune toward Echezeaux, giving wines with red-fruited lift and a silky-yet-firm character. The 2015 was a rich, ripe vintage with real structure, so this rewards either a decant now or further cellaring. A classic, perfumed Vosne address. Pinot Noir throughout.
