Working organically in the siliceous clay soils near Chambord, Tessier crafts wines of remarkable freshness and purity. "Le Point du Jour" comes from a single parcel and captures the bright, crunchy character that makes Loire Gamay so distinctive—lighter and more lifted than its Beaujolais cousin. Serve slightly chilled.

Founded in 1961 by Roger Tessier, now run by his son Philippe, this 23-hectare Cheverny estate sits in a microclimate between the Loire and the forest—cool-growing conditions that push acidity and complexity. Certified organic since 1998, these wines pull Chenin Blanc and reds from terroir that tastes like a place. Philippe believes wine should reflect the season and the man; these wines clearly do.
