"The 2021 Riesling Grand Cru Sommerberg is precise, bright, fresh, pure and clear on the elegant and flinty nose. On the palate, this is a more generous and textured Riesling than expected from the nose, but it is still very elegant and saline, with generous ripe fruit, firm tannins and strict mineral tension. Still in a valley of its development, this is a precisely defined, dense and complex Sommerberg with 13.9% alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in Colmar, November 2024." -Stephan Reinhardt
