The Geantets farm their Charmes parcel without chemicals and make it in their signature generous, powerful style, the kind of wine built to reward patience. The 2002 was a superb, balanced Burgundy vintage, and at this age the wine has unfolded into savory, complex territory. This is mature Grand Cru drinking at or near its peak.
