Hirsch's only non-estate Pinot Noir blends fruit from three West Sonoma Coast vineyards: their own estate plus neighboring Hellenthal and the inland vineyard of Heintz. Named for the winding country road connecting these remote canyon vineyards, this wine captures the essence of this fog-cooled maritime climate. With a linear, racy character typical of this rugged coastline, this shows bright red fruit balanced by mineral precision and silky tannins.

David Hirsch fell in love with Burgundy in the 1970s, then set out to translate that dream into Sonoma Coast terroir. Since 1980, he's planted a vineyard so fragmented (67 individual blocks) that it rivals Burgundy's own subdivision. All farmed biodynamically since 2011 with no machines, his Pinot Noir and Chardonnay capture the Sonoma Coast's bracing minerality and elegance—a love letter to place.
