Il Conte sources Montepulciano from hillside vineyards in Abruzzo, where clay-limestone soils and Adriatic breezes maintain freshness. Grapes are harvested at peak ripeness for balanced fruit and structure.

The 2023 was fermented in stainless steel and bottled young, here in magnum, to showcase pure, dark-fruited character. An easy, generous take on this central Italian red.

More about Il Conte

Il Conte has multiple iterations: a Pinot Grigio and Montepulciano blend (from winemakers in Piemonte or Veneto), and Il Conte Villa Prandone, the medieval Marche estate founded by Amilcare De Angelis in 1950. Marino took over in 1988 and made the name. These are Italian wines that taste like their villages actually exist.
