Jean Vesselle’s Extra Brut comes from estate Pinot Noir and Chardonnay vines in Bouzy, a Grand Cru village in Montagne de Reims. The family focuses on precise, terroir-expressive Champagne.

Aged on lees with minimal dosage, it’s taut and mineral-driven, highlighting Bouzy’s ripe Pinot character. A serious grower Champagne rooted in Grand Cru chalk.

"The non-vintage Extra Brut was produced from 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay, entirely from the Bouzy area. It is a bone-dry Champagne with appealing fresh red berry aromas. On the palate, raspberries, yeast, and hints of toast can be found in this lively, flavorful offering. Its finish is somewhat austere and a little short, preventing it from meriting a better score.
