A plateau parcel of En Remilly so close to the Grand Cru zone it sits just tens of meters from Le Montrachet itself, the most coveted dirt in white Burgundy. Joseph Colin spun his own domaine off the famous Marc Colin estate in 2017, taking with him some of Saint-Aubin's best terroirs and a low-intervention, sustainably farmed philosophy. En Remilly is the cooler, higher end of Saint-Aubin, and it gives a Chardonnay built on tension and saline drive rather than weight. The 2022 is taut and energetic, the kind of bottle that delivers Puligny-level cut without the Puligny tariff. A few years in the cellar will only sharpen it.
