Twin brothers Andrea and Marcello Mantengoli's estate on the eastern slopes of Montalcino at 400m elevation. First vintage was 1988. Now farms 8.5 hectares, certified organic since 2013. Rosso di Montalcino offers an earlier-drinking expression of their Sangiovese—same vineyards as their Brunello but released younger with less oak aging. Traditional winemaking in large Slavonian casks.
