Luis Rodriguez Vazquez is one of the most quietly important growers in Ribeiro, the Galician region where since 1988 he's brought back native grapes that had nearly disappeared. Eidos Ermos is his entry-level line, made for drinking sooner rather than later, and a perfect low-cost way to taste his granite-and-salinity signature. This white is built on the region's traditional varieties, fresh, mineral and unfussy. Serve well chilled. Drink now.

More about Luis Rodriguez

Luis Anxo Rodríguez left philosophy school to revive forgotten Galician wine traditions in Ribeiro. He's single-handedly resurrected Caiño, Ferrol, and Brancellao grapes that nearly vanished, crafting wines of terroir-driven authenticity in his grandfather's cellar. Spanish wine before Spain knew it mattered.
