"Like the Amontillado Extra Balbaína, there is also a NV Oloroso Extra Balbaína from the same almacenista, Juan García Jarana, and vineyard, La Blanquita in Balbaína. It's darker and nuttier than the Amontillado, with some notes of gunpowder, ash, smoke and tobacco, descriptors of older wines—this could be 25 years of average age, perhaps 30—and with a spirity twist, warmer and more concentrated, with more complexity.
