Oddero is a Barolo stalwart — a multi-generational La Morra estate that makes super-fresh, glowing wines built for the table, full of bright red fruit and old-school Piedmontese drinkability. Their Barbaresco comes from the Gallina vineyard in Neive, a southeast-facing slope on fine, sandy marl that gives an especially elegant, perfumed style of Nebbiolo. The 2004 was a great, classic Piedmont vintage, and this back-vintage bottle from a private cellar is now beautifully mature — exactly the patient, savory complexity Nebbiolo lovers wait for. Aged in large French and Austrian oak casks, it's tradition in a glass, ready to drink.

Super fresh, glowing Barolo from a 200-year legacy. Poderi Oddero dates to the 1700s and released its first bottled Barolo in 1878. Now run by sixth and seventh generations (Mariavittoria and Mariacristina and their children), they're certified organic and own some of Barolo's best crus: Bussia, Brunate, Vignarionda. The wines pop with bright red fruit and mineral finesse—drinkability with authority.
