A new cuvée for Uchida, Classical M is 100% Merlot from 40–80-year vines on clay-limestone soils in Cissac-Médoc. Deeper and more structured than his Cabernet, it retains the same elegant purity at a refreshing 13.5% abv. Hand-destemmed, naturally fermented, and aged two years in 500L barrels, the tannins are now finely integrated but built for a decade of graceful aging.
