Peconic Bay Vineyards, located on the North Fork of Long Island, specializes in cool-climate wines that let their maritime terroir shine. This Steel-Fermented Chardonnay skips the oak, keeping the focus on freshness, acidity, and the natural vibrancy of the fruit. The 2022 vintage brings bright, zippy energy, making it an easy-drinking yet refined expression of Long Island Chardonnay.

Lemon zest, green apple, and a touch of pear lead the way, backed by subtle floral notes and a salty, sea-breeze minerality. The palate is crisp and refreshing, with lively acidity and a clean, snappy finish. Perfect for oysters, fresh seafood, or a simple summer afternoon, this is Long Island Chardonnay at its freshest—pure, bright, and endlessly drinkable.

More about Peconic Bay Vineyards

Founded in 1979 by Ray Blum, Peconic Bay closed for eight years before Stacey Soloviev bought it in 2019 and reopened in 2021. Now they farm 62 acres of vines—some thirty years old—producing 10,000 cases annually. Gewurztraminer, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Bordeaux blends, rosé: they're serious about North Fork's diversity. Live music, on-site farm stand, Moke tours, lobster bakes: Peconic Bay is North Fork's destination winery.
