Poderi Colla’s Costa Bruna is a benchmark Barbera from Alba. Sourced from hillside vineyards around Bricco di Dardi in Barolo, it reflects the Colla family's deep roots in Piemonte winemaking. The 2022 highlights Barbera’s vibrant acidity and plush texture.

Aged in large Slavonian oak casks to preserve fruit purity while adding gentle structure, it stands as a classic, versatile red. A true expression of Barbera’s role alongside Nebbiolo in Piemonte’s rich tapestry.

More about Poderi Colla

Top-flight Barolo from the Colla family's third generation. Tino and Federica founded Poderi Colla in 1994 to continue their family's Piedmont legacy, now farming 25 hectares across three historic estates. They use large Slavonian oak and extended maceration for authenticity, but also know when modern technique helps. The result is Barolo Bussia (especially Dardi Le Rose) that tastes of place and patience.

Tasting Profile

Intense red plum and cherry aromas with a bold, structured palate. Grippy tannins and bright acidity create complexity in this full-bodied Barbera with a long, fruit-driven finish.
