We're thrilled to announce our third-annual Champagne celebration with our dear friends at Polaner Selections, on Monday, October 28 from 5:30 to 7:30pm on our mezzanine.

To minimize crowds and give you more time and space to taste, learn and savor, we're limiting ticket sales this year. Our Champagne events reliably sell out. So don't wait! Tickets are $80 and include a $20 store credit that you will receive the night of the event.

Polaner's Champagne book is star-studded (Selosse, anyone?) and only ticket holders will be able to join us to taste many of our favorite growers, including Laherte Frères, Agrapart, Moncuit, Benoit Dehu, Larmandier-Bernier and more.

This is your chance to taste through some of the jewels of Polaner's book and then stock up on your favorites, taking advantage of special pricing available only to our favorite Champagne lovers.

We hope you can join us Monday, October 28 for this extraordinary tasting on our mezzanine. We recommend arriving on the early side—pouring concludes promptly at 7:30 and we cannot guarantee late arrivals will be able to taste the full list.

Whether you're looking to get a jump-start on holiday gift shopping or simply stock up for the festive season ahead, we know you won't want to miss this event.

Please note: we are limiting tickets to facilitate a comfortable tasting environment, and only ticket holders will be able to attend. No walk-ins or additional guests will be permitted.

Voliero's Radical Rosso di Montalcino Could be Mistaken for Baby Brunello

Today, we’ll make the case that — at least with the delicious 2022s that are now coming on the market — your best and finest source of under $30 value in Sangiovese comes from Rosso di Montalcino.

A Secret Source for Stunning Volcanic Wines: Hungary's Somlói Vandor

One of the most fascinating volcanic wines we’ve tasted in some time come from the landlocked country of Hungary, specifically the area surrounding Lake Balaton. Made from the native Hungarian grapes Furmint and Juhfark, these wines offer a medley of generous fruit notes, refreshing acidity and that unique savory minerality imparted by volcanic soils.

Baricchi Timorasso: A Gorgeous Piedmont White, After 10 Years Aging

The 2014 Cascina Baricchi Timorraso “Ca Va Sans Dire” is a total showstopper. It comes from a vineyard planted in the 1950s on clay and limestone soils. It spent the first 6 months of its life in stainless steel tanks with regular stirring of the lees. It was then moved to neutral barriques where it rested for a whopping nine years before bottling.
