From an estate perched between the Mediterranean and the Gros-Cerveau mountain, this Mourvedre-based Bandol grows over rare blue limestone bedrock that lends it a minerality you simply can't fake. Terrebrune sits at the fresh, elegant end of Bandol, and its rose is one of the serious pinks of the world, structured enough that the family likes to drink it a few years on. The large format ages even more gracefully and makes a showstopping centerpiece for a crowd. This is rose that means it.

"The 2025 Bandol Rosé is potent, inward and very structured. Hallmark Bandol power is present in spades, but the 2025 is very coiled and compact through the mid-palate today. That said, revisiting the wine two hours later, it has begun to relax its shoulders and express itself. Dense, oily and laden with grippy phenolics, the Terrebrune Rosé leaves behind a long echo of apricot, graphite, chalk, mint and white pepper. This is a wine for the cellar, and the rare “hands-off” Rosé." —Billy Norris
