Francesco Sedilesu and his three sons made a deliberate choice in 2017: plant eight hectares of pure Cannonau at Teularju in Mamoiada, in the mountainous heart of Sardinia. They bottle the vineyard by ghirada, its individual plots: Ocruarana, Caragonare, Erula and Rizza, each with its own altitude, exposure and soil. Organic farming, spontaneous fermentation and nothing added but a little sulfur. Wines that taste like they walked straight out of Sardinian stone.
