Eight miles from the Pacific and perched above the Petaluma Gap, the English Hill vineyard produces Pinot Noir with an unusual mineral intensity and floral character. The 2021 vintage is lithe and aromatic—bright cherry and sage with whispers of lavender and dried rose petal—yet the wine drinks dry and focuses on place rather than ripeness. It has the acidity and structure to evolve gracefully for a decade or more, making it equally at home now and in the cellar.
