The X Omni Vineyard bottling comes from a meticulously farmed, high-elevation site, where volcanic and marine sedimentary soils lend both structure and finesse. The 2019 vintage, a cooler year with slow, even ripening, resulted in a wine of remarkable balance and tension.
Lemon curd, green apple, and crushed oyster shell lead, unfolding into subtle hazelnut and flinty, Chablis-like minerality. The palate is taut yet layered, with bright acidity cutting through a gentle creaminess from lees aging. With its Burgundian restraint and Oregon purity, this is a Chardonnay that will only deepen with time. A perfect match for roasted seafood, creamy risottos, or anything kissed by butter and salt.
