"An admirably pure and airy nose displays plenty of floral character to the pretty mix of red pinot and raspberry aromas where there is again a top note of cranberry. The supple, round and utterly delicious middle weight flavors possess solid complexity and simply terrific persistence on the balanced finish. This is probably the most refined effort in the range in 2010, indeed I would describe it as a wine of finesse."

"Vivid red. Zesty redcurrant and cherry aromas are complicated by pungent herbs and dried rose. Spicy and precise, with very good lift and cut to its bitter cherry and red berry compote flavors. Finishes smooth and gently sweet, with supple tannins shaping the clinging finish. This pinot fills out very nicely with aeration, suggesting that it's a strong cellar candidate." -Josh Raynolds

"As usual, this is one of Calera's lightest bottlings, in both color and texture. It's deceptively simple, showing softened cola and raspberry jam flavors that finish impressively long and spicy. It would be a mistake to dismiss it for early drinking."
