Crafted with care by A. Lamblot, Les Côtes Chéries Brut Nature 2019 is a perfect expression of Champagne that celebrates freshness and purity. With no added dosage, this Brut Nature allows the grape and terroir to shine through, creating a wine that is both refined and lively.

On the nose, the wine reveals fresh citrus—lemon, lime, and grapefruit—balanced by the crispness of green apple and a touch of floral elegance. As it opens, subtle hints of brioche and a delicate minerality emerge, adding layers of complexity and depth. On the palate, the wine is fresh and invigorating, with bright acidity that gives it a clean, crisp mouthfeel. The fine bubbles dance on the tongue, enhancing the texture, while the finish is long and refreshing, with a lingering note of citrus and a trace of minerality.

Perfect as an aperitif or paired with seafood, light appetizers, or goat cheese, Les Côtes Chéries Brut Nature 2019 is a beautifully balanced Champagne that shines both on its own and in food pairings. Its purity and precision make it an ideal wine for those who appreciate the elegance of Brut Nature, with a subtle complexity that evolves as it breathes.

Professional Reviews

Robert Parker

RP 94
"Disgorged a year ago, Lamblot's NV Brut Nature Les Côtes Chéries is all from the 2019 vintage, deriving from a parcel with sandy soils near the village of Gueux. Offering up aromas of pear, toasted nuts, white flowers and beeswax, it's medium to full-bodied, pillowy and elegant, with a satiny attack, a deep but fine-boned mid-palate and a long, chalky, sapid finish. The vins clairs saw fully two years' élevage before tirage. This will be fascinating to follow over the next dozen years." -Robert Parker

Champagne

Champagne boasts some of the world’s greatest luxury brands with Krug, Cristal and, of course, Dom Perignon. But it’s also home to hundreds of small dynamic producers—farmers who grow their own grapes (often organically) and make (often with natural methods) tiny amounts of pure and absolutely delicious wine that reflect the individual personalities of their villages and terroirs. Toast with these wines, for sure. But also treat them like the great wines they are: taste, drink, explore!
