Domaine Bernard Millot’s 2022 Meursault 1er Cru Les Gouttes d'Or is pure golden elegance—richer and rounder than his Perrières, but still perfectly balanced.

The wine opens with ripe orchard fruits—pear, golden apple, a touch of lemon curd—and layers in toasted hazelnut, warm spice, and a fine, stony minerality underneath. It’s plush without being heavy, polished without losing energy, and finishes long and silky with just enough tension to keep it fresh.

Gouttes d'Or ("drops of gold") lives up to its name here: it's a luxurious, beautifully structured Meursault that drinks well young but will develop even more creamy complexity with a few years in the cellar.
