If you've been curious about Jura reds, this pure Trousseau from Domaine de la Pinte is an easy way in: silky, supple and ready to drink now, from a house we count among the Jura's great traditionalists. The soil is the place to start, which suits an estate founded in 1953 by Roger Martin, a geologist. The Trousseau grows on red marl shot through with a few veins of blue marl, just outside Arbois. The Martins have farmed the whole domaine biodynamically since 2009, and the 2025 was picked by hand on September 7, cropped at 30 hl/ha and left on its skins for 18 days. The result is a red with real personality and a light touch, not a heavyweight. Serve it slightly cool, at 13–15°C, and drink it now or over the next five or six years.

Tasting Profile

Fruity nose with a light touch of spice and bright, tangy freshness. The palate is round and generous, with soft, discreet tannins and a supple balance. It finishes very silky.
