Domaine Roulot’s Meursault Villages 2021 reflects Jean-Marc Roulot’s meticulous farming and restrained cellar work, drawing from multiple parcels on classic limestone-clay soils. Fermented with native yeasts and aged in fine-grained oak, it highlights precision and crystalline purity over opulence.

This is benchmark Meursault — vibrant, mineral-driven Chardonnay that embodies the finesse and tension for which Roulot is renowned.

Professional Reviews

Burghound

BH 92
"Cool and wonderfully pure aromas consist mostly of white fleshed fruit, hazelnut and a suggestion of acacia blossom. There is slightly better volume, though not the same minerality, to be found on the utterly delicious medium weight flavors that possess a more refined texture that carries over to the sneaky long and exquisitely balanced finale. This is an excellent Meursault villages and well worth considering, plus should repay up to a decade of keeping."

Antonio Galloni

AG 89
"The 2021 Meursault Village has a taut, tightly-wound and quite stony bouquet that is flinty and stoic. The palate is very well-balanced with a silver bead of acidity and touches of peach skin and chamomile towards the gentle finish. Fine." -Neal Martin

Robert Parker

RP 89
"The 2021 Meursault Village offers up aromas of minty pear, white flowers and clear honey, followed by a medium-bodied, ample and seamless palate that's charming and open-knit in style, with lively acids but only moderate concentration." -William Kelley

Burgundy has long been the world's most famous wine region. But, underneath all the prestige, this region can be hard to get to know.

While Burgundy offers many great trophies from top producers in well-known villages like Vosne Romanee and Puligny Montrachet, it also offers excellent values to anyone willing to explore beyond the famous names. Our collection– one of the largest in the U.S. – has plenty of both!

From the very basics of Burgundy's regions and wines to the specific terroirs of individual single vineyards--
