Sven Enderle and Florian Moll are among Germany's most acclaimed Pinot Noir specialists, farming old vines organically and biodynamically in Baden, all by hand. Liaison is something like their first-cru bottling, blending the two predominant Baden soils, shell limestone for elegance and minerality, and colored sandstone for spice and power. This 2015 comes from a warm, ripe vintage and now carries about a decade of age, putting it in a mature, savory drinking window. A back-vintage German Pinot from a contrarian, cult estate.
