This is the heart of Eyrie—literally. Sourced entirely from the original Dundee Hills vines planted by David Lett in the 1960s, The Eyrie bottling captures everything that’s made this estate iconic: low-intervention winemaking, elegance over extraction, and a deep trust in place.

The 2021 vintage walks the line beautifully. It’s bright and airy up front—rose petal, red cherry, forest floor—then deepens with subtle spice, dusty tannins, and a core of quiet intensity. No flashy new oak, no overripe fruit—just purity, poise, and a long finish that unfolds slowly and deliberately.

This isn’t Pinot that tries to impress in the first five minutes. It’s contemplative, cellar-worthy, and grounded in its origins. Perfect with roast duck, lentils, or an evening that doesn’t need noise. For fans of classic Burgundy, or Oregon wines that lean into nuance over power, The Eyrie 2021 is a reference point.

More about Eyrie

David Lett planted the first Pinot Noir vines in Oregon's Willamette Valley in 1965 and released the first vintage in 1970. He also pioneered Pinot Gris in America. His 1975 Reserve placed second at the 1979 Wine Olympics, losing by a hair to a 1959 Burgundy. David's vision transformed Oregon from a wild frontier into a world-class Pinot region.
