MunJebel FM is Cornelissen's bottling from Feudo di Mezzo, one of Mount Etna's most celebrated contrade. Like the rest of the MunJebel reds it's pure Nerello Mascalese, labeled with a two-letter code so you can taste the volcano parcel by parcel. Frank is the Belgian former wine importer who chased Burgundy to Sicily and now makes these with no additions and a fanatically clean cellar, so they're vivid rather than funky. Feudo di Mezzo is known for its balance and mid-palate depth. The 2021 is youthful; decant it or hold it a few years.

This is elegance personified, with a silken wave of ripe red and blue fruits underscored by tactile minerals and a core of exotic spices.
