These are among the final vintages from a true Jura cult figure: Joseph Dorbon farmed just three hectares of old vines by horse-plow in limestone-marl soils near Vadans, working from a 16th-century cellar in Arbois until handing the domaine to his nephew with the 2023 harvest. This Ploussard (the local spelling of Poulsard) comes from old vines, fermented with native yeasts and aged in neutral vessels to keep everything pure and transparent. Ploussard is the Jura's pale, perfumed signature red, and Dorbon's is the precise, exacting version, all freshness and lift rather than weight. Pour it slightly chilled. There won't be many more bottles like these.
