Even the entry-tier wines from Lorenzo Accomasso carry the unmistakable imprint of his hand. The Langhe Nebbiolo comes from younger vines or declassified parcels of his La Morra holdings, made in the same patient, hands-off manner as the Barolos: long macerations, slow aging in big neutral wood, no cosmetic intervention. The 2020 vintage was warm and balanced — exactly the conditions to draw out the gentle, floral side of Nebbiolo. With Lorenzo gone (he passed in August 2025 at 91), these later-vintage bottlings are some of the last wines he ever made. A rare, low-key way to drink Accomasso's hand without committing to a Riserva.

Perfect Pairings

Tajarin with butter and sage, mushroom risotto, roasted chicken with rosemary and lemon, or a plate of cured salumi and Tomino cheese. Lighter braises, herby pastas, and weeknight Piedmontese cooking all play beautifully here. Tuesday-night Nebbiolo.

Tasting Profile

Bright, floral, and gently structured, with rose petal, red cherry, tea leaf, and a dusting of dried herbs. Lighter on its feet than Barolo but unmistakably Accomasso in its restraint.
