From biodynamic vineyards in the Grand Cru of Verzy, this Brut Nature Champagne expresses the minerality and structure of the Grande Montagne de Reims. Mouzon-Leroux's 65% Pinot Noir and 35% Chardonnay assemblage undergoes spontaneous fermentation in 228-liter oak barrels and ages on its lees for 36+ months with zero dosage, preserving raw authenticity. The result is a fresh, vibrant wine with fine perlage, elegant complexity, and a distinctive terroir character that rewards cellaring.

More about Mouzon-Leroux

Sébastien Mouzon is the ninth generation in Verzy, Champagne, and the first to go biodynamic (2008), add agroforestry (2011), and refuse sulfites. His seven hectares, planted in 50 tiny parcels, make Champagne without ego—just precision, terroir, and the quiet confidence of someone whose family's been doing this since 1776.

Champagne

Champagne boasts some of the world’s greatest luxury brands with Krug, Cristal and, of course, Dom Perignon. But it’s also home to hundreds of small dynamic producers—farmers who grow their own grapes (often organically) and make (often with natural methods) tiny amounts of pure and absolutely delicious wine that reflect the individual personalities of their villages and terroirs. Toast with these wines, for sure. But also treat them like the great wines they are: taste, drink, explore!
