Dive into the fascinating history of Maison Laurent-Perrier, a family adventure guided by the art of blending and purity for over two centuries. Join us on Wednesday, November 11 at 6pm on the mezzanine to meet Maximilien Meneux, the new generation member of Laurent-Perrier’s founding family.
Founded in 1812 in Tours-sur-Marne by André-Michel Pierlot, the House grew thanks to visionary leaders. First, Mathilde-Emilie Perrier, who at the end of the 19th century, gave it the name "Veuve Laurent-Perrier" and innovated ahead of her time by creating a sugar-free (Brut Nature, or 0 dosage) champagne for the British market. Then, in 1939, Marie-Louise de Nonancourt bought the estate. In 1948, her son Bernard, a builder and pioneer, shaped the unique identity of Laurent-Perrier: a globally recognized style focused on freshness, elegance, and purity.
Today, the new generation proudly carries on this independence and exceptional expertise. Maximilien Meneux is part of this new generation of the founding family of the Laurent-Perrier Group. As the grandson of Bernard de Nonancourt and son of Stéphanie Meneux de Nonancourt, he is actively involved in the management and growth of the famous family champagne House. At 29, he holds a Master’s degree in Neuroscience, specializing in Stem Cells and Central Nervous System Repair, from King’s College London. Following the passing of his grandmother, Madame Claude de Nonancourt, he joined the board of the Groupe Laurent-Perrier. He attained Level 2 of the WSET Diploma in 2024. Maximilien has worked a decade of harvests and spent two years in the winery. Based in New York City, he joined the Laurent-Perrier US team in December 2025.
The selection highlights the House’s iconic cuvées, ranging from the bright freshness of Chardonnay to the fruity intensity of its famous rosé. You will also discover the unique expertise of Laurent-Perrier through the fine craftsmanship of its great reserve wines and its most exclusive prestige cuvées.
Please join us on Wednesday, November 11 at 6pm on the mezzanine to enjoy a unique tasting experience through five masterful expressions of the House. A sensory journey that celebrates the art of blending and the brilliance of exceptional cuvées.
