Venture off the beaten path and discover two of France’s most fascinating wine regions: Jura and Savoie. Join us on Tuesday, October 27 at 6pm on our mezzanine to discover the two most fascinating mountain secrets of the French wine landscape.
Join Ellen Sarembaud, our outstanding sommelier and WSET Level 3 holder. After exploring the identity of 'Vins de France' and the amazing Italy 'declassified' wines, she will now take us among the foothills of the Alps. These neighboring regions offer a world of distinctive wines shaped by mountain landscapes, unique grape varieties, and centuries-old traditions.
We’ll explore the character and diversity of these remarkable regions, from Jura’s intriguing Savagnin, oxidative wines, and elegant Poulsard to Savoie’s fresh, alpine whites. Along the way, we’ll uncover the local grapes, distinctive winemaking techniques, and terroirs that make these wines so compelling.
Please join us on Tuesday, October 27 at 6pm on our mezzanine to come curious and discover the singular charm of Jura and Savoie!
