Marjorie Gallet's Le Roc des Anges embodies the spirit of the new Roussillon, farming old vineyards between limestone peaks and the Mediterranean in the Agly Valley. This Effet Papillon Rouge is built around Grenache with Carignan and Syrah, grown on the schist soils that give the region's reds freshness and a savory mineral edge. The 2025 is juicy, bright, and best with a slight chill. A go-to everyday red and one of the best southern French steals you'll find.
