More about Wild Mannered

Wild Mannered makes soju cocktails for people who want something fresh and light rather than a syrupy sugar bomb: real fruit and botanicals, no artificial ingredients and a gentle 13% ABV.

The brand was founded in New York by childhood friends Perry Ya and Michael Gu, first-generation Asian Americans who bonded over soju in Koreatown and started making fruit-and-herb infusions for friends' parties. They launched in 2023 as Neat, left tech careers in 2024 to run the business full-time, and relaunched under the Wild Mannered name in 2025.

There are three flavors, each riffing on a familiar cocktail: Cucumber Lime Mint (think mojito), Pineapple Ginger (a nod to the Moscow mule) and Strawberry Basil. They're built for sharing, in the spirit of Korean barbecue and karaoke nights. Serve them well chilled or over ice.

Tasting Notes & Food Pairings

Perfect Pairings

Serve chilled or over ice. Pairs happily with Korean BBQ, spicy pork bulgogi, Thai curries, grilled shrimp skewers and pineapple-topped tacos; the ginger also cuts through fried food.

Tasting Profile

Ripe pineapple on the nose, with fresh ginger heat right behind it. Light-bodied and juicy, fruit-forward but clean, sweetness balanced by zesty spice rather than sugar. Finishes bright, warm and refreshing.
